Haika

Haika works to create a range of unique fashion statement pieces fused with modern African designs to celebrate the African culture. Our products are made in Nairobi, Kenya with the help of talented women from the Kibera slum.

We take pride in using locally available materials, both new and upcycled, knowledge, skills and other recourses as a means to contribute to social, economic and environmental development.

This is guided by our main principle, “EMPOWERMENT”. By employing women from the slums, we have been able to empower them, since they are now able to support their families. Furthermore, every design we come up with is meant to empower the wearers by making them look and feel their best.
